It’s time for another round of Let’s Get Acquainted!
This week’s theme is 2 truths and 1 lie. This sounded like fun and I couldn’t resist! I have played this game with students at the beginning of the year to get to know them better. So, here are three statements. Can you figure out which one of these is a lie?
1. I have never broken a bone.
2. I have never had a cavity.
3. I have never had my ears pierced.

Just finished up a book companion for Amazing Animal Journeys, a Level 3 National Geographic Kids text. This book follows the migration of zebras, red crabs, and walruses. If you already own the bundle, be sure to grab this latest addition.

Books have been a constant in my life since I was a young reader. I'm so glad that it's my turn to share my love of books with others. ❤️❤️❤️Books have meant so much to me my entire life. I love how books can change our perspective or strengthen our beliefs. I love how you can pass joy by sharing a book you love with someone. I love how more recently, educators and publishing house are realizing the importance and significance of representation in children’s books. I’d like to point out however, that BIPOC folx and LGBT+ folx and differently abled folx have been begging for representation for....ever. In a well know idea from Rudine Sims Bishop, books should be mirrors and windows for our students.
