Today was exhausting! There were a lot of factors working against me. It’s a full moon, I’m pregnant, Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday, we’re headed into a 4-day weekend, etc. I don’t have a lot to share, but I did want to show you some of the little Valentine people we made this week:
I don’t remember where I first saw the idea for this, but they are super easy to make. Students need a large red heart for the body. The arms and legs are just strips of white paper that have an accordion fold. We used the diecut machine to get the black hearts for the hands & feet. Finally, we used googly eyes and a sharpie for the face details. The kids were so proud of them! Here are a few more examples:
